Errors –Inevitable and Indispensible.

Abstract


The various historical perspectives of errors could be traced to -the puritanical audiolingual approach, the behaviorist school, the structuralists school, communicative and the psycholinguist views. It also refers to the two schools of philosophies of error based on methodology –one being reflection of inadequacy in teaching and learning, two, errors are inevitable in an imperfect world.
