ICT Skills among Library Professionals in Research Libraries of Bangalore

Abstract


Information and Communication Technology has made a tremendous impact on each and every activity of life including higher education and service sectors and Libraries are not an exception to it. Hence, there is a need on the part of librarians to keep themselves updated and acquire technological skills and in this direction, this study is an attempt to highlight status of ICT skills among library professionals in Research libraries of Bangalore covering 103 librarians and accordingly results are reported.
