Impression of Education on Empowerment of Women belonging to the backward class in Indore city.
Since long back, the women of backward classes have been suppressed due to lack of education and financial stability. But, as the time has changed, the women of weaker classes have risen up to realize their worth and get educated. Women face a lot of discrimination in their own family, in society, at office place or in the professional front. The present study done is with a sample size of 92 female respondents in the city of Indore. Cronbach’s alpha reliability is .899. Cross tabulation has been applied between age and education levels to study the demographic response. Also, factor analysis with Varimax rotation has been applied resulting in five factors namely role identity, upliftment, conflict, trust, earn. Further studies are required to probe this domain.
